This coming Sabbath evening, the Lansing Church will be holding a  very important business meeting in person at the church and also via Zoom.

There has never been a more important time for us to be taking the gospel to the world than right now. Our community is in great need. People are wondering what is going on, others are hurting, families are struggling with marriages, finances, and so much more.

This is a golden opportunity for us to step in and be the hands and feet of Christ to a world that is hurting.

This is what we will be discussing at the upcoming business meeting—how we can impact our city in a powerful way for Jesus Christ. 

The plans that are being presented have been approved by the elders, the finance committee, and the church board. Each of these committees has added important wisdom to the proposal we will be considering.

We, Paul Wehrmeyer and Pastor Mills, cannot stress how important it is that you take time to prepare for this important meeting. We understand how difficult it is to hear about something, possibly for the first time, and process whether it is something we should do or not. It is important that you have time to understand and then prayerfully consider these plans.

To help you with this, we have put together a video and several documents that will lay out for you the next year of evangelism. This next year will culminate with a city-wide campaign starting on September 24, 2021.

Thank you for taking the time to watch, pray, and prepare to be a part of God’s leading in our church. We hope each of you will be at this board meeting–either in person or via zoom.
