In Loving Memory

Sketch of Life

Levy Lee Malosi Robinson was born on August 1, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Michael Robinson and Sadryal Fields. Levy was an outgoing, fun-loving, happy boy with a quirky sense of humor. He was known for his mischievous grins and his adorable, soft voice. Levy loved Jesus, cars and trucks, mac and cheese, legos, and Iron Man. He was an excellent student, member of the Good News Club at his school, and an active Adventurer and Sabbath school participant.

Levy passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 12:53 am. He died in the arms of his mother with his father by his side, surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his great-grandmothers, Louise Llorens Ford and Uluai Mase; grandparents, Michael and Janorise Robinson, Wallace and Lynda Baker, and Greg and Zamantha Hampton; aunts and uncles Nicole and Roman Brown, Emanuel and Caleb Robinson, Amber Baker, Selina Dargan, and Sadarra Fields; parents Michael Robinson and Sadryal Fields; siblings Leilani Downes, and Aubri and Landyn Robinson; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

He was loved with a fierceness that can never be replaced and leaves a memory that will never be forgotten.

*The family invites you to join them for the graveside service following the service.

They told me there was nothing they could do

Then I saw you growing tired

We were waiting for a miracle

It’s what we all prayed, what we all desired

But I knew the time was coming so I dreaded every minute of everyday

Of the little time that I had left with you before you were taken away

You came into this world with me holding you

No medication to help with the pain

Your arrival happened so quickly and your departure felt just the same

You fought as long and as hard as you could so know I’ll always admire you

But that moment has forever changed me

There’s nothing I want more than to bring you back

I feel so lost without you, Levy

So empty and so confused

But if I were looking for an angel

You’d be the first one that I’d choose
