Teen Connections for Christ, or TCC, as the group is fondly known, is a youth group started by teens about five years ago. The group’s goal is do just what its name says: to keep teens connected.

It’s a well-known fact that youth leave the church, and that’s why this group was started: to keep teens connected, both to one another and to Christ, so that when they come of age, they won’t leave the church.

This year, because of COVID and the small groups the church is launching, TCC is going to look very different from what it has been in the previous years.

Instead of once a month meetings, we plan to meet once a week and fellowship together, before diving into the Word of God. I plan to teach the youth a powerful method for Bible study. After Bible study, we will seek to draw even closer to God and renew and cement commitments through a short prayer session.

TCC seeks to serve youth both in the church and without, to lead them to Christ and to ensure their eternal salvation.

“With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Savior might be carried to the whole world!” (Education p 271). This is TCC’s ultimate goal, to equip the youth of our church with such a knowledge of our Savior that not only will they stay in church, but they will share the hope that has kept them.

Please, uplift this ministry in your prayers, and God will richly bless us this year. And if you know a teen who would be interested in coming to our small group, contact me!
Meet the TCC Leader
Hi, my name is Judy Klein and I am blessed to lead the Teen Connections for Christ ministry this coming year. I currently attend Lansing Community College, where I am studying for a journalism degree. I also serve on the communications team, in addition to TCC. I enjoy writing almost anything, playing piano, canvassing, and working with youth.

I believe that this year God is going to do something special through anyone who will let Him, and that is my prayer, that God will use me to reach the youth of our church.

I have multiple favorite Bible verses, but the one that I keep going to, especially now, is Isaiah 43:1-6, with an emphasis on the last half of verses one and two. “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”
