Dear Church Family,
We praise God for taking us through another year and expanding our church family. We also remember those with whom we started the year but are now resting in Jesus.
I, on a personal level, especially praise God for allowing me, along with Pastor Chad, to be your Pastor. God has been good to us, and as we focus on the first coming of Christ this season, may we not forget the blessed hope of His Second Coming. John reflects on the surety of the joy and peace we shall have with Jesus in eternity in Revelation 21:4-5: “‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.’ Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful.'”
In a world often filled with brokenness and pain, Jesus will one day bring relief and make things right forever, and that day is closer than ever before. While we wait for this blessed hope may we keep our eyes on Jesus, remembering to share His love and present truth with others, choosing an attitude of gratitude because of His goodness, and choosing faith over fear. My friends, truly, the best is yet to come!
Maranatha,
Pastor Moise “Mo” Ratsara
