With winter weather nipping at our noses, Snowrene Mitchell, director of our church’s Community
Service Center, is running a coat drive. The CSC is asking for kids’ coats, gently used or new, in sizes
ranging from infant to youth.

While the greatest need is children’s coats, coats for adults are also needed. If you have an extra coat
that you are not wearing, it could be a real blessing to someone in our community.

The main focus is a coat drive, but the CSC is also accepting clothing donations. “We have more requests
for clothes than I have ever seen,” Snow said. She has gone through her closet and is asking you to
consider your own closet and whether you have anything that someone else may be able to use.

Coats and other clothing items may be dropped off at the Community Service Center, located behind the
church, on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Snow is willing to pick them up or to meet you at
the CSC at another time if you are unable to come during those hours. Call her at 517-646-8489 to
schedule a pickup.

Times are getting tough, and if you have an extra coat, whether it be men’s, women’s, or children’s,
consider donating it to the CSC, where Snow and her team will find it a loving home.

Snow wishes to thank the church family for all the support they have given.

Thank you, Snow and your team, for all the work you pour into the center, sharing Christ’s love to those
who are in need.
