Tim Yorty has been the Bible Study Offer / Bible School coordinator for the Lansing
Church since 2019. In this position he receives Bible study requests from the public if
they respond to free Bible study advertisements. Tim may be contacting you in the
future for help supporting our community Bible study interests.
He has also served as the evangelism coordinator since 2019, helping to organize
church evangelism. Tim has conducted Bible studies, preached sermons and held
evangelistic meetings in the past.
Since 2014 Tim has also maintained the church YouTube channel, where we currently
have over 900 videos and over 1250 subscribers. The church YouTube channel
averages almost 5,000 views per month from around the world.
Tim was ordained as an elder in October 2015 and previously served as the church
webmaster, audio visual team member, and mission trips team member.
He and his wife Christine were both baptized in the Lansing church in 2012 by Pastor
Justin Ringstaff. They currently live in Charlotte, MI. The Yortys have 2 adult children
and 6 grandchildren. Tim retired from the US Navy in 1994 and has also served with
the Michigan National Guard – Volunteer Defense Force branch. He currently works
from home full-time as an Information Technology manager for the State of Michigan.
