The Homeless Ministry is collecting donations of the following items for care packages: bottles of water,
applesauce, peanut butter/cheese crackers, beef jerky, beef sticks, trail mix, granola bars, cereal bars, and
socks. Drop all donated items in the box labeled “Homeless Ministry”. If you have a desire to
help with this ministry in other ways, contact Jason Gray. The next homeless outreach will be Sabbath,
August 13.
The Community Outreach team is collecting school supplies for homeless and under-served children
across Greater Lansing. Items being collected are pencils, colored pencils, crayons, wide-ruled paper,
notebooks, index cards, and glue sticks. All supplies will be distributed at the Logan Square location in
August. The deadline for donation collection is August 20. Items collected can be dropped off in the
donation box marked “School Supplies”. Contact Zamantha Hampton for details.
Monetary donations are also accepted for each ministry. Cash, checks, or card are acceptable. For giving online and to see
