Setting high expectations teaches students to be responsible by being on time, turning in assignments, and being courteous. These are not only expected at GLAS but are needed for real-world applications. If students do make a mistake- academically or behaviorally—it is brought to their attention with a redemptive opportunity for improvement. We train excellence as we teach, knowing it is a learning process for a bright future.

SERIE ESCUELA SOBRESALIENTE: EXPECTATIVA DE EXCELENCIA

¿Qué hace que una escuela sea excepcional? El desarrollo intelectual, las horas extra, el espíritu comunitario y el respeto mutuo son solo algunos de los factores que hacen grande a Greater Lansing Adventist School. Durante las próximas semanas, compartiremos varias formas en que GLASS es diferente y excelente. Esta semana es nuestra expectativa de excelencia, la próxima semana es, no solo lectura y escritura.

Establecer altas expectativas les enseña a los estudiantes a ser responsables al llegar a tiempo, entregar las tareas y ser cortés. Estos no solo se esperan en GLAS, sino que también se necesitan para la aplicación en el mundo real. Si los estudiantes cometen un error, académico o de comportamiento, se les informa con una oportunidad redentora de mejora. Formamos excelencia mientras enseñamos, sabiendo que es un proceso de aprendizaje para un futuro brillante.
