Lansing Church members Karise Francis and Joshua Calvelage are part of the leadership team for Adventist Youth on a Mission Michigan. The youth-led group organizes events twice a year for other young people at different locations in Michigan.
“Our goal is to encourage the Adventist youth and get them on fire for God,” says Karise.
AYMMI’s next event will be held at Ithaca SDA church on April 25-28. The retreat will feature messages by young people with the theme “At All Costs.” Participants will also enjoy outreach projects, amazing food, and uplifting time with like-minded young people.
“With this theme we will uncover what it means to live with deep conviction and follow God at all costs,” says Karise. “Our goal is to inspire a generation of young people that will be willing to go all in and do anything for God, no matter the costs they might face.”
