Our yard sign is up announcing the free dental and vision clinic on November 17! Thanks to all who have shared information about the clinic in the community. We still have large posters available to hang in local businesses. Pick some up at church if you have places to put them.
On Sabbath, November 16, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, we need at least 20 volunteers to hand out flyers about the free clinic. Our goal is to distribute 2000 flyers that day. We will visit neighborhoods and businesses where we can reach people most likely to need free healthcare services. Outreach volunteers are invited to a potluck lunch—come to the fellowship hall after the worship service for directions to the lunch.
We also have two smaller outreach events:
1. Thursday, Nov. 7, 12:00-2:00 pm at the Fretail Store in the Lansing Mall. Volunteer need: 3-4 people
2. Sunday, Nov. 10, 11:30-1:30 pm at Reutter Park. Volunteer need: 1-2 people
