The Lansing Seventh-day Adventist Church will host a FREE medical, dental, and vision clinic on Sunday, November 17, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The church is located at 5400 W. St. Joseph Hwy., Lansing.
Services offered to the community include:
- basic medical screenings
- dental care (cleanings, fillings, and extractions)
- vision care (eye exams and prescription eyeglasses)
- women's health exams and screenings
- vaccines for COVID and flu
- health education
All services are free of charge. First come, first served - no appointments needed. Services will be offered until maximum capacity is reached. There are no income or residency requirements to receive services.
The clinic is offered in partnership with AMEN (Adventist Medical Evangelism Network), a nonprofit network of physicians and dentists dedicated to providing free care to those who are uninsured or under-insured. This free clinic is made possible by volunteers and by donations.
More than 150 volunteers, including dentists, dental hygienists, optometrists, physicians, nurses, and other health professionals, will provide patient care and support. The one-day clinic is expected to assist up to 300 individuals.
"Our goal is to serve people as Jesus did, by caring for their health needs," says Donna Hall, RN, a member of the clinic organizing team.

Translators will be available at the clinic to assist patients speaking the following languages: Spanish, Kinyarwanda, French.
There will be some bonus services available during the clinic. The clothing bank in our Community Service Center will be open for those who need clothing. We will provide a limited number of free haircuts as well as massages! Free health education talks will be presented while people are waiting for services.
Eyeglasses: Patients will be able to choose a frame and have glasses made for their prescription. We will order the glasses, and patients will be able to pick them up soon after the clinic. Eyeglasses will be free while supplies last. Additional patients would pay $10 for glasses.
