CONSTITUENCY MEETING – Greater Lansing Adventist School will be holding their annual Constituency Meeting on Thurs, May 9, at 5:30 pm in the school gymnasium. All are welcome to attend.
PARENTS AS PARTNERS – Active parental involvement make a BIG difference at GLAS. We view education as a partnership between parents and educators. Many families volunteer their time on campus or even from home. By participating in their child’s education, they also contribute to our learning community and are examples of leadership to all of our young scholars. GLAS SECRETARY NEEDED – Greater Lansing Adventist School is seeking a full-time Secretary for the 2024-2025 school year. The position is for approximately 32 hours per week, M-Th, while school is in session. The candidate will be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist church in good and regular standing. They will have intermediate computer skills, great interpersonal skills, interact well with children, and be able to coordinate communication and marketing for the school. COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER – Open every Wednesday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Call Snowrene Mitchell: 517-321-8238. All are encouraged to take a slip of paper from the offering plate to bring a food item to the Community Service Center box in the lobby.
HOMELESS MINISTRY – Bring donated items to the boxes in foyer.
TRIATHLON – This summer, our church is looking to gather as many members as possible to participate in the Hawk Island Sprint Triathlon consisting of a 500m swim, 10 mile bike-ride, and a 5k run. If you are interested, please contact Pastor JC at 470-399-6496.
SHAREHIM TRIP – This year, our church is looking to sponsor 1 young adult that would like to preach the gospel overseas in south or central America for 12 days. For more information, please contact Pastor JC at 470-399-6496.
